On 5/15/09 Lisa S said... On my first visit I took my two boys here for a haircut. I told the hairdresser to cut their hair so that it looked better..my older son wanted his hair kept longer. She cut his hair and I was not pleased with it..it didn't even look like it was cut but decided not to complain since I just found out the hairdresser was the mother of my son's classmate. Then my second son went for his cut and when she was done I asked her to cut it a little bit more at the back with the clippers....this is what we always have done. She had already asked me if I wanted him to have a buzz cut and I said no. She started at the back with the clippers and it was looking good and then she started clipping the front!! I was in shock and asked her why she was cutting the front? She said that was how you cut hair with the clippers and she has never just used clippers to cut the back. I was horrified and very upset and the hairdresser had to ask another girl to finish the haircut. I felt bad and told the hairdresser that since it may be strange since out children know each other. I also said that I was horrified since this type of thing has never happened to me before. She then said under her breath....... "I think it happens all the time." All the girls in the salon were looking at me like it was my fault that the hairdresser did not know how to cut hair. I found out later from my sons that she kept asking them during the cut what kind of cut they wanted....they are 8 and 6!!!! My son now has a buzzcut and it looks ridiculous. I was horrified and very upset and was offered no apologies and they blamed me and my sons for our miscommunication on how we wanted their hair cut. I tried to call the salon later that day because I wanted to to speak to the manager. I called three times and each time there was no answer. I realized that they could see my name and number on caller-id and were not answering the phone. As soon as I called back with blocked caller id they answered the phone. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me she was not there. I asked them to have her call me and their response was that she is very busy and will probably not have time to return my call. I still have not received that call.
